F'ed Up Comic Book Movies

What's with the current trend of releasing totally f'ed up movies supposedly inspired by comic books ? I have quite extensive thoughts on the subject. Several cases in point.

1. Spiderman (and I use that title loosely)
First of all, Spiderman, the REAL Spiderman, doesn't shoot his webs out of his arms. That doesn't come until the comic book, Spiderman 2099. If Spidey has a ready made supply of webbing, where does the drama come in when he or the world is in peril but he doesn't know what to do because he's run out of web fluid ?
Green Goblin. The goblin is NOT supposed to be completely green. He is supposed to have a purple hat, purple gloves and boots, and a purple tunic. And his flyer/glider doesn't look anything like the one in the comics and the cartoons. At least Doc Ock in Spiderman 2 looks semi normal.

2. Daredevil.
This one really riled me up. I don't have anything against Michael Clarke Duncan, I loved him in Green Mile and his other movies, but what the hell was he doing playing Kingpin ? The Kingpin is supposed to be a big white guy, not a big black guy. In every cartoon, the comic book, and the '80s Daredevil movie, Kingpin was a big white guy. So....why did they make him black ?

3. Batman
The only problem I had with this movie was the fact that, yet again, Two Face (or Harvey Dent BEFORE he became Two Face) was played by Billy Dee. I loved Billy Dee in Star Wars but what was he doing playing Two Face ? In the comics, Two Face (half of him anyways) was a white guy. At least they got it right in Batman Forever.

4. Catwoman
Who greenlighted THIS piece of crap ? Firstly,....Halle Berry ?
C'mon. I wouldn't touch....that thing with....well, you know. The costume sucks. It doesn't look anything like a proper Catwoman outfit. It's basically just a mask. The suit from Batman Returns was a full vinyl bodysuit. And why did they pick a black person to be Catwoman ? Catwoman, all real Catwoman portrayals, should be white women as they were in the comics. Michelle Phifer (sp?)and Julie Newmar are perfect examples.(I don't count Eartha Kitt because Catwoman should be beautiful and Kitt always reminded me of a troll....sort of like the troll-like woman in Dark Crystal)
